How do I setup my account?

Before you can get online there are a couple of steps you need to take.

To access the website, you will be required to RESET THE PASSWORD of the account on record. This will be the same email you used to log on to our old website
. (If this email no longer works for you or you don’t have access to it, contact us with the email you’d prefer, and we’ll add that user on our end.)

 

  1. Click this link to reset your password Forgot Your Password
  2. Enter the appropriate email address, fill out the Captcha, and click “Reset My Password”
  3. You will be sent an email with a link to reset your password. Click the link in the email, fill out your new password, and click “Change Password”.
  4. You should now have access to your account on https://sowatool.com.

Once you are logged in, you will have the power to add new users to your team, and set them up with account admin or buyer roles:

Once you have successfully logged in:

You are now ready to use the new SowaTool.com! You now have the ability to see stock of our items and make purchases. While signed in you can also see all of our current promotional flyers from the "Promotions" tab at the top of the website.

Below are some useful videos showing how to create an order, get a quote, etc. Most of it is intuitive but there are a few new features on our site, such as saving favorite order lists, requesting a quote, and uploading an excel file for a quick order.

If you're having an issue when logging in saying your "Email is Invalid", check the top right-hand corner to make sure you are on the correct country's website as the accounts are country sensitive.

A part number I used to order doesn't show anymore.

If you're looking up a part number and not finding what you're looking for it may be one of a few reasons. Our part numbers no longer use hyphens in the middle, so if you are still searching using the XXX-XXX format the correct product will not show.

Another reason may be that the part number is no longer available. If this is the case please contact one of our customer service representatives and they will be glad to help you find an alternative.

How do I manage my users?

Companies have the ability to create new users. These new users will be able to purchase for the company, and Admins have the ability to edit and delete these users at any time.
Each user within your company can only see orders that they have placed. If you would like to continue viewing all orders in one place we recommend using only one user account to place orders.

*For a new user to be able to create their password they must first access the website and select a country before clicking the "Create Password" link in the email.
